The Partner is a modern twist on the most old-fashioned of desks. ‘Partner’s Desks’, those substantial lumps of oak and leather, once sat in every Dickensian study. But brought into the 21st Century, the traditional use of an ornately gilded leather panel in the centre of the desk has given way to the stark elegance of one section of aniline leather covering the entire centre third of the desk. The leather is framed by contrast inlays of Ash and Wenge hardwoods. And the modern aesthetic is further reinforced with the use of elegantly simple bevels to all edges.
