For over seventy years classically designed ‘Riva’ motorboats have glided across Italian lakes and Riviera harbours. One of many defining statements of a golden era of quiet style and discreet luxury. The inspiration for this desk came from the dark wooden decks with pale striped inlays that define those boats. It projects a quiet aura of sheer indulgence. An echo of the sort of furniture that Audrey Hepburn might once have leant against, smoking a cigarette in a foot long holder.
The pictured table has an Ash hardwood top, dyed to 'Police Box Blue'. The contrast pattern is Ash hardwood. The legs are our 'Deep V' design. It's 210cm x 100cm making it a generous 6-8 person table.
